Field Trip to San Ysidro

Yesterday we went on a field trip to San Ysidro to speak in spanish to get our food and   to look at the advertisements . This field trip for Spanish And Media Literacy. The restaurant  that we went to was called  Colija”s and we all ordered in Spanish.

On the bus ride, the other passengers were calm, some would listen to music, others would read a book, or talk to people like they’re friends, which they were, sometimes. For most of the day there was not many people on the bus until it got later in the morning that people had to stand up, but it got calm again. The reminder that I heard was to look at the Mexican advertisements and to look around and see how different the city looks like, compared to La Jolla. The kinds of advertisements that I saw where for kids and some of food. Some things that I saw, I did not know what they were there for. I think I can improve these kinds of trips by being quieter. And to make my body more calm and not move around to much, for the trip to be better for me and all of the other people on the bus.
