Nonames Homes Report

Part I Introduction

The building that I chose to do was homes. I chose this because people need a place to stay,be with family and friends,and after a long day of work or school they can relax.Another resin why I pick homes is because, I wanted to do something that someone can escape form the busy life out side of the house.I also chose this one because I thought that I would like to do it better then the others building’s. This building is important to the civilization because without homes were would people sleep and take a showe.

Part ll Ancient civilizations homes

All ancient civilizations have their way of how they make homes and buildings.  In Ancient Rome some places would be cramped and some would not,because in places with more people would be crowded.Sense Rome was short of land they would build the buildings small and tall,and as more people came they just build them taller and taller. If your family had more money the house you would live in would be a big villa, or in a domus. The house would be built around a court yard and some homes would even have a pool. When the city got to crowded and the homes got unsafe the laws would change and some of the house would have to be smaller. Once the law changed the homes would have to be 70 feet tall, and that would make people crowded.

In Ancient Egypt the houses would be made of bricks  made for the by the Nile River,they would also add straw and pebbles  to make the mud more strong. Once the house was built they would paint scenes for nature.If you were a rich family you would live in a big house with ten rooms with privet apartments for guest.If you were poor you would have to live in one room with your whole family and you would be very cramped. The house would have a little roof that you could go on, and the floors are just the grown underneath you. And if you had an big house you would have tile floors and would host a lot of parties.Scenic the homes were by the Nile river when the water started to flood the roofs would need some repair.

In Ancient Greeks homes were  made of sun-dried brick made of mud, but that was not that dependable because they would start to crumble and break. Most of the homes had a courtyard, and the homes were divided into areas for the men and for the women. The guest that were men never really got to see any of the woman in the house. Inside of the homes they added very little furniture, they had wooden chairs, couches(with some padding),beds, and stools. The house also was put into areas for the people who liv there and the guests there.  The roofs of the houses were made of overlapping tile, and some parts of the flooring had tile but most of the house had dirt floors.

Part lll The functions of the building

The buildings in Oceania have a purpose for people to live in and to do everyday things for the family. This building has another purpose which is for busy people to relax for the hard and busy days that they do.The homes in Oceania have purpose for the earth, which is to have important to use but that is also use materials that are natural.Things that might happen in these homes might that family’s will big parties, B RBB Qs might be there.The people that live there might have big family reunions, have parties for their kids soccer team.A lot of actives might happen in the homes in Oceania.The people that might live in the homes could be families, people looking for their first home . These people might buy a two story house, but other people might buy apartments because they still might in college and need a small place to live. Or people want to down size form a big house to a small apartment.The function of the building will be all year,but some people might buy the house for a vacation house so they might be there for a few weeks a year. Most people will live in their house for most of the year or the whole year.

Part lV Different parts of the house

In the homes in Oceania there are a lot of different rooms that all have a purpose. One of the rooms in the house is a living room and kitchen. Then there is an office, guest bedroom, a laundry room and a  full bathroom.All of these places in the house are on the lower level.For the rooms upstairs there is two medium size rooms with a bathroom attach two it. There is a master bedroom with its own little deck and a very modern bathroom.These rooms in have a flow to it so its some of the rooms are together live the living room and the kitchen.They are like this because if a family with little kids they can cook and make sure their kids are ok, and if they are having a party they can still talk to their guest as they cook.Off that there is the guest bedroom and a full bath(not on the guest room), and more at the back there is the office and the laundry room.The office and the laundry room are  at the back is because you don’t want your office with all of you work stuff and you don’t want people to see your dirty laundry.For the upstairs to the right of the stairs there are the two bedrooms with the attach  bath.Two the left of the stairs is a linens  closet to put sheets and all that kind of stuff, and then there is the master suite. The master suite has a little personal deck,and very modern bath room with a shower and bathtub.The houses are flexible because they have a good flow like how the rooms are and where they are,but it can’t be changed for business but you can change it for a home.

Part V Location of the building

The homes Oceania are located in a area that is not by an area that has a cliff,but they will be at an area with almost flat.Its like that because you don’t want a house to be on a cliff because you don’t know what will happen. The houses will be facing the street but some might be facing a different direction.The houses are like this because some areas you don’t to look at your neighbors house. There are other buildings in the area because if a family lives there, there would have to be supermarkets,shops, gas stations,doctors,schools.banks, and work buildings.This location was chosen because having a flat piece of land is better then having land with hills and cliffs.This location was also chosen because it has more room to put the buildings that every city needs. There are other locations were the homes can like land with not many cliffs, but a piece of land that has some hills but not a lot.

Part VI Materials used for construction

The materials that were used for construction are reusable wood and reused brick and stone . I chose these materials because I thought that using reusable materials, that when the home has to be nock down the brick and stone is reused .The materials came from,(brick)an old house that has fallen,(stone)came form stone in someone’s backyard that they don’t want, and the wood came for a recycling plant.The materials that i am using are all green because,by using old brick and stone they don’t go to wast.By using reusable wood when the house is knock down it can be used for something new. 


Part VII Machinery for construction

The machinery that I need for the building are cranes,and bulldozer,I will also need some drills. The building should be done after about 8-10 months because I am building a hole new building so it will take longer the it would building off another one. When the build can no longer sever for that function that it is for, the building will have to nock down and another one go i  its place.The buildings should last for a a long because i am using materials that have to be place with newer materials and that could take a wile.When the building materials are no longer usable i will have to replace then but it might take i long time to do that, or i will nock down the building a build a new one.
